John Hutto
John Hutto is considered a visionary and results driven Senior Information Technology and Operations Executive with demonstrated experience in planning, developing, and implementing large scale information/operations solutions and structures that add significant value to businesses. He has developed and implemented cost effective strategies and operations for corporate-wide governance and management of all aspects of IT including infrastructure services, networks and telecommunications, line of business client services, advanced technologies, systems development and Program management, IT Security and contingency planning.
During his tenure as CIO at SunTrust Banks, Inc., John was responsible for the technological and operational integration of over 400 acquisitions with the primary emphasis on capitalizing on cost savings opportunities. John developed a keen interest specifically in the tremendous savings potential in the telecommunications sector. Starting in 1986, John began the movement toward managing telecommunications expense in a highly rigorous fashion using lessons learned, tools, processes, and talent to significantly drive down costs. During the period 2000-2003, after a number of major financial services acquisitions, his team – utilizing these techniques – drove over $130mm out of the company's telecommunications expense.
John was the founder of The ITEGroup in 2003. Since then, the clients of The ITE Group have enjoyed telecommunications cost reductions averaging 35% and returns on their investment exceeding 700%.
Scott Springer- General Partner
Scott is a successful executive with strong background in product and technology management, operations, and strategic alignment of technology to the business. His roles span from CEO of an emerging company to General Manager of a 4000-person organization, giving him unique and invaluable skills and insights to solve business problems.
Before ITE, Scott served as General Manager – Operations of Nielsen Media Research, where he had oversight for 4000 people in Information Technology, Telecommunications, Field Operations, Call Centers, and other key operations services.
Before joining Nielsen, Scott worked for several years in finance, operations and strategic planning in the textile industry, including serving as a turnaround plant manager of a large factory. He started his career as a Navigator and Electronic Warfare Officer in the United States Air Force.
Michael Hutto- General Partner
Michael is an expert in the entire telecommunications lifecycle management encompassing both wireline and wireless environments. He has helped dozens of ITE clients streamline their current processes, develop and deploy TEM best practices, and re-engineer telecom business processes.
Michael's major successes include numerous enterprise RFP development and deployment programs resulting in an average ROI of 350% across all ITE's clients. He has led both sole source and competitive procurement engagements producing millions of dollars in annual savings.
Dave Conklin- Lead TEM Consultant
Dave Conklin is a highly accomplished Network Communications Technologist and leader with a strong business background. In Dave's 30+ year corporate career he has structured and led competitive procurements for Telecom Services as well as for Data & Voice Networks. He has successfully led numerous carrier contract negotiations that secured best in class terms and conditions and delivered over 20% average annual cost reductions.
Dave is also an experienced network engineer, having designed and led major WAN/MAN/LAN deployments and technology upgrades. Under his leadership, the Frame Relay WAN of a worldwide Fortune 500 corporation was successfully reengineered, procured and transitioned to MPLS delivering increased reliability and cost reductions over 28%.
